Sometime after 05-11-2022, unknown suspect(s) stole a vehicle from the location of the incidents. V1 advised she left the vehicle disabled and secured at the location, and intended to return later with means to remove it. The gas station employees advised they did not have the vehicle removed. The vehicle likely would have had to have been removed via tow truck due to it being inoperable and left secured without keys. The vehicle was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen. Case is active.

CBA D1 accused V1 of taking her cell phone while they were in Daytona Beach. D1 followed V1 to DeLand to confront V1 again. D1 grabbed V1 a couple times in an attempt to get into his pockets and pulled his shirt. V1 did not have D1's phone. D1 was arrested without incident.

Sometime between 1400 hours on 05-13-2022 and 1930 hours on 05-14-2022, unknown suspect(s) stole vehicles 1 and 2 -- a boat and boat trailer -- from the marina. V1 was made aware of the theft when vehicle 1 was found stripped and abandoned in Brevard County (BCSO case #2022-00169933). An attempt to contact was conducted by Ormond PD with V1, who then notified VSO of the theft. Vehicle 2 was not recovered, and was subsequently entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen. Case is active.

R1 is the power of attorney for V1 and reported V1's motorcycle stolen from inside a secured motorcycle trailer. R1 advised he has been looking after V1's personal belongings on the property and last observed the motorcycle on 05/07/22. Case is active.    

**Pass-on 707** Neighbors observed S1 shoving V1 at their residence. Prior to deputies' arrival, S1 fled the scene carrying a machete. However, V1 stated S1 did not threaten her. V1 was not cooperative with deputies during their investigation. S1 could not be located at the time of the report. Case is active and a pass-on affidavit was completed.    

V1 was located deceased in his bedroom with a loaded syringe and an empty syringe nearby. V1 also suffered from Sepsis. CID was notified and responded to the scene.

Deputies responded to the location in reference to a suicidal male, V1, who went into nearby woods with a rope. Per the RP, the male left a note at the location, along with his personal effects (cell phone, wallet, keys). Deputies conducted a search of a nearby wooded area and clearing with the assistance of Air One. V1 was subsequently located high up in a tree with a rope affixed to it and secured around his neck. Dialogue was established with V1, who was in a manic state. After nearly an hour, V1 was talked down from the tree and was taken into protective custody under the Baker Act without further incident. V1 sustained a self-inflicted laceration to his nose, but was cleared by Fire/EMS on scene. Watch Commander was on scene. Case is Closed.    

Crime Suppression Team assisted WVNTF with several ongoing investigations, and covered the city of DeLand during a ceremony.

***DV Aggravated Battery CBA*** V1 was in a verbal argument with D1 over missing money. The argument turned physical when D1 attacked V1 in the front yard. D1 punched and threw V1 to the ground where he then started choking V1. Witnesses observed the attack. During the arrest of D1, he resisted but ultimately was secured without injury to D1 or deputies. D1 and V1 reside together as a family unit and have been in a romantic relationship for more than a year. D1 was currently out on bond for DV battery on another family member. Case status CBA by patrol.
