On Friday, August 12, 2016, the Port Orange Police Department began using the Taser Axon Body 2 body worn cameras on a full-time basis. All operational staff (patrol, patrol sergeants, crime suppression team, and motors) have been assigned the video cameras which will now serve as the primary recording device while on duty.
