On August 5, 2016 at 1206 hours Orange City Police responded to 1155 S. Volusia Ave, Orange City Liquor in reference to an armed robbery. A black male suspect entered the store, produced a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect obtained an unknown amount of cash and fled the store in a black SUV vehicle, south bound on S. Volusia Ave.

The suspect was described as a black male, approx 5-08, dark sunglasses, grey sweat shirt and blue / grey hat. The Clerk was not injured during the incident. Anyone who has information please contact the Orange City Police Department at 386-775-9999 or Detective Sherif El-Shami 386-851-7554.
