Vehicles located in several subdivisions in the northwest area of DeLand were burglarized early Saturday, October 28.

Police responded early Saturday to subdivisions that include Forest Trace, Glenwood Springs, Cross Creek and Mallory Square after residents reported their vehicles had been burglarized.

Video surveillance shows at least three subjects canvassing the areas checking for unlocked vehicles. The subjects arrived by car. The DeLand Police Department is requesting residents' assistance to identify the suspects.

Please be reminded of the importance of removing valuables from vehicles and ensuring that all doors are locked and secure.
