On December 5, 2016 at approximately 2:30 pm Port Orange Police responded to BB&T Bank located at 1635 Taylor Rd, Port Orange in reference to a robbery.  Upon arriving on scene officers learned that a male arrived at the bank and passed a note to the teller indicating that he was robbing the bank. The male was described as an older male with gray hair and facial hair. He was reportedly wearing jeans, a dark long sleeved top and black baseball cap. The male left the bank on foot with an undetermined amount of money. 

There was no weapon seen or implied.  There were no reported injuries.

Port Orange Detectives responded to the scene and are actively working this investigation.  Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to contact Detective Jim Kenny at 386-506-5883.
