Deputies Ray and Held responded to the above location on a Larceny from a vehicle. v-1 Wilson advised between 1-14 to 1-15 he left his cell phone on the front seat of his unlocked vehicle. At this time there is no serial number.

V-1 met with deputies at Holly Hill PD so that he could report that his vehicle had been burglarized. V-1 stated that sometime between 11-13-18 and 11-14-18 an unknown person(s) entered his vehicle and removed items from it. V-1 stated that he does surveillance cameras at his residence but that they did not capture the incident. A canvass of the area around V-1's residence provided negative results. No latent prints or evidence could be obtained from the vehicle.

V-1 was dropped off at the Beach House the previous day by his mother O-1 for behavior issues. A Beach House employee, R-1, stated that V-1 today abruptly ran out of the unsecure facility and into the adjacent wooded area with a flashlight. A search of the area by deputies and AIR1 (using FLIR and hand held Night Vision capabilities) provided negative results. V-1 is not known to be on any medications and is not suicidal. V-1 also has no known means of communication on his person (cellular phone, etc.). V-1 was entered into FCIC/NCIC as missing.
At approximately 2352hrs V-1 returned to the facility of his own accord. V-1 was unharmed and came back because he was "cold". V-1's missing status was removed.

Deputy Whitson observed a blk four door vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and fail to stop for a traffic light indicating red. Deputy Whitson attempted to get close enough to the vehicle to initiate a stop but was unsuccessful. He could only provide the description of a newer model blk car. The vehicle was observed moments later on Williamson Blvd and LEOs from different agencies continued to catch a sight of the vehicle in the area. Ormond Beach PD deployed stop sticks successfully and moments later the vehicle, a blk Infinity 4 door, was discovered abandoned behind the Publix shopping center on US 1 within Holly Hill. A witness at the scene stated that two black males were observed running from the vehicle and hiding in the area. D-1 was discovered hiding under a dumpster at the rear of the closed business and could not explain his purpose for being there. A firearm, approx. 11 gr of heroin, over $200.00, and approx. 8.5gr of crack cocaine were found inside the vehicle. These items were labeled for latent print processing. Over $2,183.00 was found in the parking lot area by the vehicle.
D-2 was discovered hiding in the bed of a truck that was parked at a residence adjacent to the shopping center. D-2 had over $17,000.00 in his possession at the time of contact. Holly Hill PD left the scene, OBPD completed the necessary documentation for the stop stick, and VCSO personnel took control of the vehicle, persons, and items. Neither D-1 or D-2 could be identified as the driver of the vehicle. Both D-1 and D-2 were charged with loitering and prowling until possible latent prints can be obtained for future charges. D-2 already has pending prior narcotics charges with OBPD. East Side Narcotics Unit was notified.

Clay County requested an attempt to locate at 1138 George Anderson Street, OB in reference to a stolen trailer out of their county. Deputy Greene responded and located the trailer in the driveway. William Cribbs was contacted and he advised he purchased the trailer and provided documentation of the sale. The VIN confirmed the trailer as stolen and was recovered by Deputy Greene. Information was passed on to Clay County.

R1 reported a female (S1) came into his business stating she needed new tires. R1 replaced S1's tires with new tires totaling $374.88. She took them for a test drive and then returned stating she could get the tires cheaper at Walmart. When R1 wouldn't lower the price, S1 told him to take the new tires off and put the old tires back on. Another male who arrived with the female (but in a different vehicle) stated he would pay for the tires. The female left with the tires, at which time the male stated he didn't know the female. R1 advised he wished to pursue charges for the theft of the tires. Case active to Deputy Wagers.

R-1 brought her son V-1 to the Beach House for behavior issues. Once there, V-1 took off from the facility and into the adjacent wooded area. V-1, by coincidence, made contact with a county employee in the area and asked about using a phone charging cord (the incident was unknown to them). A search of the area provided negative results. AIR 1 could not fly the area due to weather concerns. The TCI K-9/Bloodhound unit could not respond due to staffing issues. R-1 could only give one known address to check which also provided negative results. A bolo was sent out to all surrounding agencies and a bulletin was disseminated via email. At approximately 0023hrs, V-1 returned to his residence and was recovered by Port Orange PD (# PO180000277)
V-1, a juvenile, was admitted to HBS under a Baker Act. While there she stated that the previous evening, she was with a group of male juveniles. V-1 said she woke up with no recollection of events but said she was the victim of a sexual offense. The detectives unit was notified and responded to the scene.

Deputies and VCFD responded to the listed address in reference to a residential fire. On arrival, VCFD extinguished the fire and discovered an adult male deceased within the residence. Deputies secured the scene and assisted with crowd control. The Watch Commander and on-call Detective Sergeant were notified. Detectives Gonzalez, Johnson and Bethea (CSU) subsequently responded to the scene to assist with the Fire Marshal's investigation. Preliminary indications are the fire was accidental. The Medical Examiner's Office was notified and M.E. Assistant Clark responded to the scene, along with livery service.
Deputies Held and Ray have been following up on a petit theft from 1-6. The suspect was located and gave a confession to the theft of 5 dollars of merchandise. A 707 was completed.

R1 reported S1 came into the business and advised she was interested in a vehicle for sale on the lot, a black 1999 BMW 328i. R1 obtained the keys for the vehicle and handed them to the female so she could test drive it. R1 advised the female to only drive the vehicle on Nova Road in front of the business because he did not have a dealer tag on it. While S1 was test driving the BMW, R1 was dealing with another customer who had arrived in a Jeep Cherokee.
S1 subsequently left with the BMW and never returned. It was later determined S1 had originally arrived at the business with the customer in the Jeep Cherokee. The BMW was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen. The case is active to Deputy Wagers.
O1: Wanda Brown (W/F, 11-01-1979), store manager @1275 LPGA Blvd, DB
O1 reported a w/m entered the store and stole an unknown amount of an unknown brand of toothbrush / toothpaste valued at $5.00. The male fled from the store in a 2013 Nissan passenger vehicle. Case is active to patrol.
Deputies responded to the above location on a report of a shooting of a 12-yoa child. Upon arrival, a 12-yoa child was found with a gunshot wound to the mouth. The child was taken to Halifax by EVAC. He was later transported to Arnold Palmer in Orlando. There were four 12-yoa children home alone when the shooting happened. CID and Crime Scene responded to the scene and took over the investigation. Watch Commander LT Shank was notified and responded to the scene. The victim's mother was notified and responded to the hospital. A copy of this report was sent to DCF.

V1 reported on 12/28/2017 at approximately 1347 hours, someone cashed one of her business checks (Power Sports LLC) at 1258 Ocean Shore Blvd, (Publix Shopping Center) Ormond Beach. V1 advised the fraudulent cashed check was in the amount of $439.87. (V1) advised she is currently in possession of check #3077 and the one utilized is fraudulent. This is the second fraudulently cased business check from V1's business (see VCSO case #18-00125). Deputy Cowger is investigating.

V1 reported she was in her bedroom when she observed her daughter, W1, enter the residence quickly from the side door and shut the door behind her. V1 then heard the door slam open and observed W1's ex-boyfriend, S1, enter the residence while cursing at W1. S1 began to step toward W1, prompting V1 to step in between them, while ordering S1 to leave the residence. S1 did not comply with the order and pushed V1 in her upper body in an attempt to get past her to get to W1. V1 advised she pushed S1 back in an attempt to get him out of the residence, but to no avail. S1 then stated he would "blow this motherfucking house up" and that he "had something in the car." S1 exited the residence, entered his vehicle and fled from the scene, prior to the arrival of deputies. V1 was not injured during the incident but wished to pursue charges against S1. V1's account of the incident was corroborated by W1, W2, and W3.
Deputies attempted to locate S1 but to no avail.
Deputy Greene responded to a report of a theft. R1 reported at 0237 hours, four black males arrived at the store in a white Dodge Charger and parked at pump No. 1. They waited for a customer to leave before entering the store. As the four entered, they acted in concert and all participated in the theft. Suspect 1 walked over to R1 who was stocking a shelve and stood between him and the other suspects. Suspect 2 is seen on video jumping the counter and grabbing a box containing thirty cartons of cigarettes. He then hands them to suspect 3, while suspect 4 opens the door and they all run out to the waiting Dodge.

R1 reported her son, V1, missing from his grandmother (O1)'s residence (1216 David Dr) where he has been staying while R1 works. O1 advised V1 left her residence at 1500 hours on 12/28/17 to go to an unknown friend's house, but never returned. V1 has run away several times in the past. Deputies responded to 1020 Cozy Circle (the residence of a known friend of V1) but V1 was not located. V1 was entered into FCIC/NCIC as missing and a BOLO was issued.

DEPUTIES SCHINDELHEIM AND RATHBURN RESPONDED TO THE ABOVE LOCATION ON A REPORT OF A DECEASED MALE. UPON ARRIVAL, VCFS ADVISED THE MALE WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED AND HAD BEEN THERE FOR A WHILE. CONTACT WAS MADE WITH R-1, A ROOMMATE WHO ADVISED HE LAST SAW V-1 AT 8 LAST NIGHT WHEN HE WENT TO BED. HE CHECKED ON HIM THIS AM AND FOUND HIM DECEASED. THE VICTIM MALE WAS 59 YOA AND FAMILY ADVISED HE HAD NUMEROUS MEDICAL PROBLEMS BUT REFUSED TO GO TO THE DOCTOR. V-1 WAS REPORTED TO ALSO BE A HEAVY DRINKER. THERE WERE NO SIGNS OF FOUL PLAY. PHOTOS WERE TAKEN OF THE SCENE. THE MEDICAL EXAMINER WAS NOTIFIED AS THE VICTIM HAD NO DOCTOR AND RESPONDED TO THE SCENE. THE VICTIM'S DAUGHTER WAS ON SCENE.
DEPUTIES SCHINDELHEIM AND RATHBURN RESPONDED TO THE ABOVE LOCATION REGARDING AN INTOXICATED MALE WHO WAS INJURED. UPON ARRIVAL, CONTACT WAS MADE WITH THE 59 YOA MALE, WHO WAS VERY INTOXICATED AND HAD FALLEN AND HIT HIS HEAD AND WAS BLEEDING. AFTER AN INVESTIGATION, IT WAS DETERMINED THE MALE COULD NOT CARE FOR HIMSELF AND HE WAS MARCHMAN ACTED. THE VICTIM WAS TAKEN TO HALIFAX BY EVAC.
