Deputy Berriozabal responded to 1782 5th Ave, DeLand in reference to a vehicle burglary. Yvette Rodriguez advised the interior of she and her husbands vehicles had been ransacked over the weekend (2014 Kia and 2012 Hyundai). Medication and a Garmin GPS were stolen. Case continued to Deputy Berriozabal.

V1 reported an unknown person(s) stole his black 2000 Ford Mustang bearing FL tag # CJMR37 which was parked in front of the gate at the above location. He said he left the vehicle unattended with the keys inside the glove box. V1's Mustang was located at approximately 0523 hours behind the address of 1113 S Thompson St., Deland. Unknown suspect(s) had set the vehicle ablaze prior to leaving the scene (See VCSO case # 18-18745 for information).

Deputy Stoltz responded to the above location regarding a suspicious vehicle. R1 advised the vehicle has been at the location since 0600 today. A FCIC/NCIC check revealed the vehicle was stolen out of Fayetteville North Carolina. A request was made for an attempt to contact the owner which was met with negative results. The vehicle was removed from FCIC/NCIC. The vehicle was heavily damaged. The vehicle was towed by C&S wrecker. Case is active.

Deputy Bivone and other deputies responded to the above location regarding a vehicle fire. During the investigation it was found the above church was burglarized. The fire was a stolen Mustang. (See report number #18-18747.) The State Fire Marshall responded to the scene and investigated the vehicle fire. O1 a member of the church responded to the scene regarding the burglary. O2 the vehicle owner also responded to the scene. Case is active to Deputy Bivone.
