180026394 D1 B/M Deland (DV) battery on a pregnant person (Deputy Rodriguez)
V1 reported she was involved in a verbal argument with her live-in boyfriend (S1). During the argument, S1 punched V1 in the face with a closed fist. S1 fled the scene prior to deputies' arrival on scene. A complaint affidavit was completed and placed in the District II pass on box.
V1 reported she was in a verbal argument with her live-in boyfriend (D1). During the argument, D1 struck V1 in the face with a closed fist. V1 advised she is pregnant and D1 is aware of the pregnancy. D1 was arrested for (DV) battery on a pregnant person and transported to the VCBJ without incident.

Deputy Blum responded to a report of a suicidal person. Contact was made with (R1) and (V1). advised her juvenile son had taken a pair of scissors and attempted to cut his own wrists. V1 admitted he wanted to harm himself and he was taken into protective custody.
Deputies responded to a call stating a man was banging on the window with a gun. The caller then stated the man came in through the window and disconnected. Upon arrival, deputies located the front window of the residence smashed out, bystanders pointing at the apartment in question and a male's voice could be heard. Deputies took a tactical pause to coordinate resources and listen to the male inside. Prior to attempting contact, the male, (D1). opened the door and was detained by Sgt. Shephard and Deputy Lewis. A patdown revealed two firearms and a large amount of cash. Contact was made with the residents, (V1), (V2), (V3) and (V4). It was determined V1 and D1 had previously resided as a family unit, but no longer do and the incident was domestic in nature. At the conclusion of the investigation, D1 was charged with:

V1 reported unknown suspects stole his 2018 Dodge Challenger from his driveway. V1 was unable to provide any possible suspect information at the time of the report. The vehicle was entered into databases as stolen.
R1 reported he was sitting on the back porch of his residence with V1. R1 advised over the course of several hours V1 was playing with a handgun and would put the barrel in his mouth. R1 further advised the firearm discharged striking V1 in the head in what appears to be a suicide. Fire rescue personnel arrived on scene and pronounced V1 deceased. Detectives and Crime Scene responded to the scene. The medical examiner took jurisdiction.
Deputies responded to 717 Forrest Park Dr. in DeLand, reference to a disturbance complaint. While responding to the scene, R1 advised Central Dispatch V1 was threatening to harm himself if she didn't come outside and speak with him. As Deputies were arriving on scene V1 was observed leaving the area. Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop in which V1 failed to comply and continued south on SR 15A. Stop sticks were authorized, which resulted in Deland PD units hitting 3 tires. Deputies continued following V1 at or below the speed limit for approximately 10 minutes before the vehicle came to a stop. Deputies then heard a single gunshot and the vehicle accelerated into woods before coming to a rest. Deputies then contacted V1, who suffered a single self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. V1 was airlifted to Central Florida Regional in Sanford for treatment. CID and Crime Scene responded to the scene and continued the investigation.

Deputy Blum responded to a residence regarding a well-being check of (V1). V1 left her cousin a voicemail advising she was going to end her life, which prompted law enforcement's response. Once in contact, it was determined V1 met Baker Act criteria and she was taken into protective custody.

Deputy McIntosh responded to a domestic disturbance. Contact was made with (D1), who appeared to be heavily intoxicated and having a difficult time holding a conversation with Deputy McIntosh. D1 stated she did not want her live-in boyfriend, (V1), physically disciplining her children, though he is a parental figure within the house. V1 grabbed (W1), by the arm and moved him out of the kitchen when his mother entered carrying groceries. This was not an aggressive move or done in a manner to hurt the child, nor did it leave any marks. This act caused D1 to get extremely upset and she physically attacked V1, biting him on the arm and leaving red marks and scratched his arms as well. It was determined D1's highly intoxicated state contributed to the escalation of the incident and she was deemed the primary aggressor and placed under arrest.

V1 reported unknown suspects stole her blue 2006 Suzuki Ventura bearing Fl. License plate 2027UI. V1 was unable to provide any possible suspect information at the time of the report. The vehicle was entered as stolen.

R1 reported a known suspect (S1) knocked on the back door of her residence located at 5195 West Ave. in Deleon Springs. V1 opened the door and was shot several times by S1 who then fled the scene in an unknown direction. V1 was transported to Halifax Medical Center for treatment. The on-call Detective Sgt. was contacted and advised of the incident. Detectives and Crime Scene responded to the scene and continued the investigation. The Watch Commander responded to the scene.

Deputy Blum responded to 1992 Quail Hollow Drive in Deland in reference to a battery complaint. The victim, Barbara Babb-Miles (V1), stated she was at the West Side Animal Hospital on 11/05/2018 and was battered by a staff member, (S1). After speaking with her attorney on today's date, she was informed to contact law enforcement. On the date of the incident, Barbara got into a verbal disagreement with Gail Smith (O1) who is the wife of the veterinarian. Babb-Miles was advising they were not allowed to have political signs at their place of business. The argument calmed and Babb-Miles finished her visit at the clinic. As the staff had done previously, they assisted Babb-Miles with walking to the car and loading her animal. It was during this time the victim advised she did not want to be touched and she was dragged out of the business by S1. A Veterinarian Technician, George Wiggins, aided with walking, holding the door and loading the victim's pet and advised he did not observe any battery take place. No signs of injury were observed and Deputy Blum did not locate any additional witnesses or video surveillance of the incident. The victim insisted on pursuing charges and Deputy Blum completed a 707, which Babb-Miles signed and was later submitted to the State Attorney's Office for review.

Deputy McRae responded to a battery that occurred at the bus stop. Pablo Trejo Jr. (V1) was getting off the bus and stated he was attacked by several unknown white males. When the males approached Pablo Jr., they were making gang signs and threatening him. Pablo stated he believed he was targeted because he is Hispanic and the crime was hate-motivated. He was reportedly punched in the chin by one of the males, but was not injured. Pablo Trejo Sr. (V2), Pablo's father, stated he was at home when he observed a tan color Nissan Maxima stop in front of his house and saw numerous young men exit the car and headed toward the bus stop. Pablo Sr. heard a loud commotion coming from the stop and headed to help his son. He was then approached by several males from the vehicle and exited and began threatening him as well. If PC is obtained, night shift will attempt to make an arrest and continue the investigation.

Deputies responded to a disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victims, (V1) and (V2). V1 advised her husband, (S1) had been out of the house for several days and arrived home today to start an argument. The argument turned physical when S1 shoved V1 onto the bed, at which time she hollered for help. At that time V2, a juvenile, entered the room and observed S1 holding V1 down by the throat and he could hear her gasping for air. V2 then forced S1 off V1, at which time S1 punched V2 in the face several times prior to fleeing the residence. Air1 and K9 responded, but were unable to locate the suspect. Deputies were holding DV Stalking Charges (18-26020) but had been unable to locate S1 on that case. This incident was forwarded to CID to obtain an arrest warrant.
Deputy McRae responded to the above address for a stolen bicycle. The victim, Thomas Stallings (V1), stated he chained his $300 blue Diamondback bicycle to a post in a side yard. The bicycle was last seen the night prior when the victim chained the bike and placed a palm frond on it to keep it out of view. The case is active to Deputy McRae.

Deputies responded to 2413 8th Av, Deland, for a suspicious vehicle. Once on scene, it was discovered the vehicle was reported stolen the day prior. The vehicle was not damaged but was stuck in mud. The victim, John Mula (V1), was notified, responded, and called a tow truck to recover the vehicle.

Deputy Sweeley responded to a domestic complaint. V1 advised her husband, D1, came home from work advising he quit his job. A verbal argument ensued and V1 called VCSO to prevent it from escalating like prior incidents have. During phone contact with dispatchers, D1 yanked on V1's arm and began yelling at her. D1's story was inconsistent and p/c existed for an arrest. D1 was transported to VCBJ.
Deputy Morris responded to 211 Woodmont Rd, DeLand, in reference to an auto theft. Upon arrival, Deputy Morris made contact with John A Mula (V1) who stated on Nov. 7, 2018, at approximately 2100 hours, he left his 2007 Honda CRV black in color (IYGJ73) in the driveway of 211 Woodmont Rd. Mula stated on Nov. 8, 2018, at approximately 0200 hours, he came outside the residence and discovered his vehicle was missing from the driveway. Deputy Morris entered the vehicle into databases as stolen and a BOLO for the vehicle was issued. This case is still active.

Deputy Johansmeyer responded to 612 W Beresford Ave, DeLand, in reference to a C-P-R in progress. Upon arrival, Deputy Johansmeyer made contact with EVAC and DeLand Fire Engine 81, who were working a full-code on Margarette H Wright (V1). Deputy Johansmeyer made contact with Vence I Wright (N1) on scene, who advised Wright (V1) suffered from several medical issues. Rescue personnel transported Wright (V1) to DeLand Fish Memorial hospital, where hospital staff continued to perform lifesaving measures on Wright (V1). Hospital staff were unable to revive Wright (V1) and pronounced her deceased at the hospital. Wright (N1) requested the Unity funeral home and the livery service responded to the hospital and removed Wright (V1).

180026062- CST assisted with the apprehension of an armed carjacking suspect that fled from HHPD. The carjacking took place on 11/06/18 in Seminole County. Air1 followed the vehicle to 364 Church St, Lake Helen, where the defendant bailed out of the vehicle. Units set up a perimeter and county K9 responded. The suspect, Chrishaud Mackey, was apprehended by Deputy Luoma's K9 as he was hiding in a ditch filled with water and debris, approximately 75 yards from the vehicle. Mackey was transported to CFR by EVAC and will later be transported to the VCBJ. Sanford PD retrieved the vehicle from the scene.
180026087- CST assisted D6 with a fleeing vehicle possibly attached to several burglaries. D6 deployed stop sticks on the vehicle, which fled into D4, then into Seminole County. SCSO assisted and located the vehicle which was exiting in at to 101C in Sanford. SCSO assisted with apprehending the suspect, Lodaquon Atkins at 5002 Maxon Terrace, Sanford. 8 grams of cannabis was also located inside the vehicle.

Deputies responded to I-4 in reference to a fleeing vehicle. Holly Hill PD attempted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle that was reported to have been used in an armed carjacking in Seminole County. The vehicle was entered into databases as stolen and the occupants were considered armed and dangerous. As the vehicle continued westbound, it exited I-4 and the driver later bailed out of the car at 364 Church Street in Lake Helen. Districts 2, 4, 6, Deland PD and Lake Helen PD all assisted with a perimeter as Air One circled and K9 was dispatched. Once on scene, Deputy Luoma deployed his K9 partner, Jago, who tracked and apprehended the suspect a short distance later. The suspect, Chrishaud Mackey, was taken to CFR for medical treatment and later transported to VCBJ. Sanford PD arrived on scene and took custody of the vehicle as part of their investigation.

Deputies responded to the a report of a suicidal juvenile. Contact was made with (R1), who advised her juvenile daughter (V1) stated she wanted to kill herself. The victim has a history of mental health issues and was being violent toward herself and others. The victim was subsequently taken into custody under the Baker Act.
Deputies responded to the above address for a report of a male making hand gestures at children waiting for the bus. The unidentified male was giving the middle finger to the children and making sexually suggestive hand gestures. A canvass of the immediate area yielded negative results for a suspect. The RP, Allison Smith, received the information from her daughter but did not see the incident. The male never made contact, nor did he attempt to lure or entice the children.

Deputy Stoltz responded to the above residence regarding a stalking incident. V1 reported her husband, S1, left the residence four days ago. S1 has been repeatedly calling her, making threatening statements. V1 reported he called her approximately 25 times within an hour. S1 called V1 while Deputy Stoltz was on scene. V1 requested S1 to stop contacting her, but he refused. V1 completed a statement. Deputies did not locate S1. A 707 charging affidavit was completed and passed on to the oncoming shift.
180025982- CST assisted patrol with locating a suicidal subject in the area of Dodge / Woodland. The subject was trying to jump out a moving car, then run into oncoming traffic. Deputy Leven located the subject who was secured and later transported to ACT.
180026014- CST assisted OCPD with a call that came out as a strong-arm robbery at the Wendy's. The suspects (white male and white female) ordered food from Wendy's, then stole the cash register and fled the scene on a 4-wheeler. CST responded to the area.. A perimeter was established and K-9/Air1 was called. The subject was unable to be located; however the investigation is ongoing.

Deputy Lewis responded to 24 Highridge Blvd, DS, in reference to a burglary complaint with a one-month time lapse. V1 advised while he was in the hospital, his home was burglarized. Musical instruments to include a guitar (w/ case), keyboard and amp were stolen. Forced entry into his home was made. Case active to Deputy Lewis.

Deputy Long responded to 638 S. Spring Garden Ave, DeLand in reference to a burglary complaint. Contact was made with V2, who advised she and Paul Forsythe are renovating their house. Sometime between 11/01 and 11/06, unknown person(s) gained entry into the home through their open window and stole a gray Mongoose bike, brown radio, gray push mower and Remington pole saw w/ serial number.

Deputy Goggin responded to 103 Evergreen Terrace, DeLand in reference to a deceased person. Upon arrival, EVAC pronounced the victim, Tamara Cibira deceased. Cibira is 33 years of age and was last seen the night before around 2100 hours. CID was notified and Detective Ruiz responded to the scene. The M.E. was summoned to the scene and took custody of the deceased. The case was turned over to CID. Lt. Maddox was notified.

Deputies responded to a home in DeLeon Springs in reference to a suspicious incident. A male resident of the home, V1, initially contacted law enforcement and advised of a loud motorcycle in the area, which then was reported as an unknown male entering the residence and shots being fired. V1 advised he was armed and stated he could hear an unknown female screaming. Contact was made with V1 and his family, who stated he was "going crazy." No evidence was located at the scene to corroborate V1's allegations. The family also advised V1 has access to firearms and has been hiding them around the house. V1 was taken into protective custody under the Baker Act and a Risk Protection Order is being completed.
Deputies responded to 55 W. Haven Rd in reference to a burglary in progress. The victim, Juanita Mills (V1), advised she arrived to find a shattered rear window and an unknown male, Cornell McKinney (D1), asleep inside the residence. McKinney was taken into custody and post Miranda, admitted to entering the residence without permission the night before to sleep. At the conclusion of the investigation, McKinney was charged with Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, Possession of Heroin and Possession of Paraphernalia and criminal mischief.

Deputy Lewis responded to the above address regarding a theft. Contact was made with Joan Stowell (V1), who advised she was missing jewelry, silverware and other items from within the residence. Stowell advised she was hospitalized in August, where she has stayed for several months. Upon return, she noticed various items missing, as well as a guest, (S1), who had access to the residence during her hospital stay. A search revealed several silverware and jewelry items had been pawned, but the items have since been sold. The case is active to Deputy Lewis.

Deputy Goggin responded to the above address for a theft complaint. Upon arrival, contact was made with Richard Wirnowski (R1), who advised a customer's 2004 BMW was parked out front of his business and between 11/02 at 2345 hours and 11/03 at 0115 hours, unknown suspects stole the wheels and tires off the car. R1 contacted the owner of the vehicle, Charles Matousek (V1) who advised he wanted to pursue charges. The case is active to Deputy Goggin.

Deputy Rodriguez responded to the intersection of W Lisbon Pkwy/ S Adelle Ave, DeLand, in reference to a criminal mischief. Upon arrival, Deputy Rodriguez made contact with Randy Barkley (V1) who stated on Nov. 4, 2018, at approximately 1741 hours, he drove Trina Hicks (D1) and Tina Hicks (W1) from the Chisholm Center. Barkley stated upon arrival at 520 S Clara Ave, DeLand, (D1) asked for another transport and he refused to drive (D1) any further. Barkley said (D1) became upset and smashed his front passenger side window, causing it to break during the incident. During the investigation, it was determined (D1) damaged the window and was placed under arrest for criminal mischief. (D1) was transported to the Branch Jail for booking without incident.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, Deputy Stoltz made contact with (V1) who stated on Nov. 4, 2018, she got into a verbal argument with her husband (D1). (V1) advised the argument escalated into a physical altercation when (D1) punched her in the face with a closed fist. (V1) said she attempted to call law enforcement via her cell phone and (D1) took her cell phone away from her. During the investigation, it was determined (D1) was the primary aggressor during the altercation and was placed under arrest for simple battery and tampering with a witness. D1 was transported to the branch jail for booking without incident.

Deputies responded to the above LOI in reference to a mentally ill person. Upon arrival, V1 advised he needed his medication. When deputies explained they couldn't help get his medication, he advised he was going to continually smash his head into a metal sign. V1 proceeded to bang his head on the metal sign near him. Based on V1's statements and actions, he was taken into protective custody under the Baker Act and transported to Act.
Deputies responded to the above LOI in reference to a disturbance. Investigation revealed that D1 struck V1 in the left side of his face, causing minor redness. D1 was placed under arrest for simple battery (DV).
Deputy Hodges responded to the above LOI in reference to an overnight theft of a golf cart. V1 advised that sometime overnight, unknown suspect(s) stole her white in color EZ GO golf cart and some garden tools from under her detached carport. While in the area, Deputy Hodges was flagged down and given a possible location for the stolen golf cart. The golf cart was located in a field near 186 E. Retta Av., DS. The golf cart was stripped of its batteries and the garden tools were still missing.

Deputy Stoltz responded to the above location regarding a battery call. Juvenile V1 reported she was waiting to get onto a ride at the fair, when juvenile S1 got off the same ride. V1 advised they got into a verbal altercation, which turned physical after S1 hit her on the side of her head with her fist. S1 stated the altercation started after V1 approached her and hit her for no reason. The incident was witnessed by others. Deputy Stoltz completed a charging affidavit to be forwarded to the State Attorney's Office. Carla Quann was notified. Both Juveniles were treated by Paramedics on scene and released. DCF was faxed a copy of the report.
Deputy Ferrari responded to the above location regarding a vehicle window being shot out. V1 reported she heard a vehicle driving slowly down the dirt road in front of her residence and then heard a noise. V1 reported she discovered her driver's door window on her Toyota truck was shattered. V1 advised she observed a black 4-door vehicle flee the area.

Deputies responded to the above LOI in reference to a suicidal juvenile, who had run away two hours prior. Deputies, CST and Air One all responded to the area to search for V1. R1 advised V1 has been making statements about committing suicide for the past few days. V1 was finally located at King Charles/SR 11 and taken into protective custody under the Baker Act. V1 was transported to Halifax hospital for further evaluation.
Deputies responded to the above LOI in reference a suicidal person. R1 stated V1 (11 yoa) was jumping in front of her vehicle as she was trying to leave. Deputies arrived and observed V1 repeatedly kicking the vehicle that R1 was in. Deputies made contact with R1 who advised V1 just got out of a treatment program for his disruptive mood disorder. Due to V1's actions, jumping in front of a moving vehicle and kicking the vehicle, he was taken into protective custody under the Baker Act and transported to HBS for further evaluation.
Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a fight. Upon arrival, contact was made with V1, who advised his wife, D1, had just battered him and left the scene on a bicycle. V1 advised he and D1 were in a verbal argument when she head-butted him, causing a laceration to his nose. D1 was located a few houses away and taken into custody. D1 was charged with simple battery (DV).
Deputies responded to the above LOI in reference to a larceny. Upon arrival, contact was made with V1 who advised that S1, a family member, had stolen his bank card and cell phone. Deputies located video surveillance of S1 using V1's stolen bank card. Due to S1 being at an unknown location, Deputies completed an SA707 charging affidavit on S1, charging criminal use of personal identification and petit theft.

Deputy Campbell responded to 1221 N Ridgewood Ave, DeLand, in reference to a deceased person. Upon arrival, Deputy Campbell made contact with the inpatient nurse for Samuel E Blymire (V1). Riley stated on Nov. 2, 2018, at approximately 1655 hours, her hospice patient Blymire passed away inside the residence. R1 advised Blymire suffered from many health conditions. Deputy Campbell checked Blymire's person for any signs of foul play which yielded negative results. Deputy Campbell made contact with Blymire's physician who advised he would sign the death certificate. Allen-Summerhill funeral services arrived on scene and removed Blymire from the residence.

Deputies made contact with V1 who was extremely intoxicated. V1 let Deputies view her cell phone which corroborated the initial call. V1 was taken into protective custody under the Baker Act and transported to Act.

D1 additionally stole a bicycle which was near the side of the residence. Another witness followed D1 who met up with D2 around the corner. Deputies and Officers located D2 running on foot by Deland Middle School. D1 was located riding the stolen bike in front of the Chimney Corner Motel. Two of the fishing poles were located at Steel Fox Firearms. Investigation resulted in D1 and D2 being placed under arrest for burglary of a structure, DSP and petit theft. D2 was also placed under arrest for an open warrant. CID was notified.

At approximately 0235 hours, District 2 deputies, Sergeant Grunder, and the Watch Commander (Lt. Piser) responded to the above location reference the report of a suicidal subject. R1 advised her boyfriend V1 had just attempted to hang himself. She related she had prevented him from doing so, but that he then armed himself with a knife. As units responded, V1 reportedly took off running down the road, with R1. Air One was requested and responded, as did a tracking-only Deland PD K9 unit. An extensive search of the (very rural) area was conducted and a phone ping initiated on V1's phone. Sergeant Grunder made phone contact with R1 again, however, it became apparent she was no longer cooperating with deputies. Eventually, both the K9 track and phone ping narrowed the couple's location to a marshy lake- where Air One located them, attempting to hide in a paddleboat (on the water). They were eventually persuaded by Sergeant Grunder (via phone) to return to shore, where they were contacted. Criteria was established to take V1 into protective custody. As deputies attempted to do so, he became combative and restraining force was utilized to subdue/handcuff him. V1 was finally transported from the scene without further incident.
Daytona PD spotted a stolen vehicle westbound on I-4. The vehicle exited at Saxon and fled westbound into Orange City. The vehicle was later discovered crashed at the entrance to Veterans Memorial Park. CST assisted District 4, 6 and OCPD. A perimeter was established and the suspect was later located in the woods and was arrested.
Deputy Johansmeyer responded to the above location regarding a car break. V1 reported between 0530 and 1900 hours an unknown person broke into three of his vehicles through unlocked doors. It did not appear anything was removed from the vehicles. There were numerous objects moved around inside.

Deputy Berriozabal responded to the Deland Campus of the Daytona State College in reference to a sex offense complaint. Contact was made with the victim (V1), who advised S1 had exposed his penis to her several times on the campus over the previous weeks. On today's date, the victim began recording on her phone as she walked from the parking lot and passed S1's vehicle. On video, S1 is clearly looking in the direction of the victim and has his penis exposed. S1 was contacted and denied the allegation. He was subsequently removed from campus, trespassed and administratively unenrolled from the college. An affidavit was filed for exposed of sexual organs and a search of his criminal history revealed a pattern of behavior similar to this incident, but he has not been convicted.

Deputies responded to Probation and Parole at the request of Director Quann in regards to D1 who violated the terms of his probation. Once D1 learned Director Quann was on scene and his probation violated, he fled on foot and was apprehended a short time later. Once in custody, D1 began making suicidal statements and was transported to HBS for a mental health evaluation. After the evaluation was completed, D1 was taken into custody and transported to DJJ (180025488).
Deputies responded to the intersection of Camelia Rd and 10th Av in reference to a disturbance call. A passerby called in and advised a male was dragging a female into the woods by her hair. Contact was made with both parties, (V1) and (D1). The evidence corroborated the information provided by the passerby and victim also provided the same account of events. The defendant denied any allegation of physical violence, but was determined to be the primary aggressor and was arrested. The defendant was charged with felony battery as he had a prior conviction of DV Battery.
Deputy Goggin responded to Tractor Supply in reference to a retail theft. Employees of the business advised a white male approximately 30 years of age with a camo jacket and blue jeans fled the business with a $9.99 tool kit (socket set). The case is active to Deputy Goggin.

Deputies along with Fire Rescue responded to 3651 Grand Ave., Deleon Springs, in reference to an agency assist call. Prior to arrival, VCSO dispatch advised a male later identified as Hunter P Gurney, (V1), fell into a dry well which was approximately 35 feet deep. Deputy Ferrari arrived on scene with Fire Rescue and confirmed Gurney was sitting at the bottom of the well and was unable to move. Deputy Ferrari notified Sergeant Edgecomb, who responded to the scene along with Lieutenant MacDowell. Fire Rescue was able to successfully hoist Gurney out of the well without incident and treated him for his injuries on scene.

Upon arrival, Deputy Rodriguez made contact with Nicole Anderson (V1) who advised: On Oct. 29, 2018, at approximately 1800 hours, her son left his black Eastern BMX bicycle with no known serial number on the open porch attached to the residence. On Oct. 30, 2018, at approximately 1617 hours, she discovered the bicycle was missing from the porch. Anderson stated she checked the surrounding area for the bicycle which yielded negative results. This case is still active to Deputy Rodriguez for further investigation.

V1 stated as she was leaving with her mother, D1 started a physical altercation by grabbing V1 arms and scratching them. There was also damage to the tailgate of the truck, believed to be by a pellet gun. Similar cases were reported to day shift today. Estimated damage $1,100.

Deputy Ferrari was unable to contact V1's primary care physician and contacted the ME's office, which advised Deputy Ferrari to have V1 turned over to a funeral home of the family's choice.

Deputies responded to 302 Christmas Road in Pierson, in reference to a vandalism complaint. Contact was made with the victim, Alejandro Hernandez (V1), who advised it appeared as if someone has shot holes in his vehicle's window with a BB gun. Two small holes were observed and a BB was recovered from the scene. During a canvass of the immediate area, a subsequent victim, Bertha Fonsecalslas (V2) was located at 355 Emporia Road. The rear window of her vehicle was shattered and was also believed to have been shot out with a BB gun. A third vehicle was located several miles away at 317 W. Washington Avenue and is owned by Josie Edmund (V3) who reported the same damage. The suspected time frame is between 0000 and 0500 hours. In all three incidents, no items were reported stolen and no entry appeared to have been made. No surveillance was available or located in the immediate area. The cases are active to Deputy McIntosh.

Deputy Blum responded to 1950 Deer Run Court in reference to a well-being check on the resident, Elizabeth Harrison (V1). While walking around outside the residence, Deputy Blum observed the victim sitting up on the couch in an advanced stage of decomposition. Entry was made through an unlocked exterior door and the house was cleared. The interior was very clean and no suspicions of foul play were raised. The victim's daughter, Linda Miller (N1), arrived on scene and was notified of the death. VC Medical Examiner was contacted and advised they would take jurisdiction of the deceased as no doctor was known nor medical history.

Deputy Jones responded to the above location regarding a DV incident. V1 stated she and the father of her children, D1, got into an altercation. During the altercation D1 kicked her, pulled her off a chair and slapped her. D1 was arrested for Simple Battery DV and transported to the Branch Jail. V1 did not require medical treatment.

Deputy Skrzypinski responded to the above location regarding a shoplifting. R1 reported D1 attempted to steal several cases of beer worth $95.75. D1 passed all points of sale and was confronted by R1. D1 fled the scene but was later captured with the assistance of DeLand PD. D1 was arrested and transported to the Branch Jail. Deputies responded to the intersection of W. Beresford Rd and S. Spring Garden Av. in reference to a male waving a gun. VC Animal Control called in and advised a male was armed with a gun at the scene. Contact was made with the victims, Madisen Heller (V1), Norma Waterman (V2) and Alicia Dease (V3). All three victims arrived on scene for an animal complaint investigation and were contacted by Jennifer Buchannan (W1). While discussing their business with Buchannan, her boyfriend George Turnbow (D1), emerged from the wood line and produced a handgun from his waistband. Turnbow then waved the gun around in a threatening manner, only to place it in his waistband with his shirt tucked behind to display the firearm. All three of the victims fled out of fear for their safety. It was later determined the pistol was a realistic pellet gun. After contacting W1 Buchannan and Turnbow, inconsistencies were noted and Turnbow was arrested for aggravated assault.

At approximately 0912 hours, Deputy McRae responded to 350 W. Lisbon Pkwy., in reference to a residential burglar alarm. Upon arrival, Deputy McRae noticed the front door had been kicked in and additional units responded to the scene. The residence was cleared and no suspects were located. Air1 was unable to fly due to weather and no K9s were available for assistance. The homeowner, Vicki Heath (V1), arrived on scene and advised nothing was missing from within the residence and believed the alarm scared off the burglars.

Deputy McIntosh responded to Pierson, in reference to a domestic disturbance. Contact was made with (V1), who advised she was battered by her live-in boyfriend, (D1). V1 advised during a heated argument, D1 began destroying the house, during which he removed a dresser drawer and struck the victim on the head. Evidence at the scene was consistent with the victim's accounts and injuries. Contact was made with D1, but he denied any physical altercation took place and could not account for the victim's injuries. He was subsequently arrested and taken to VCBJ.
Deputy McRae responded to 2255 W. Dale Cir., Deland, in reference to a fraud complaint. Deputy McRae was contacted by the victims, Richard and Kazuko Sorensen (V1 & V2), who believed their mail was stolen and fraudulent activity had occurred on their credit accounts. The victims located a credit card in the mail they did not authorize and a copy of V2's driver's license, which was also an unauthorized reorder.

Deputy McIntosh responded to 1660 S. U.S. Hwy 17 in reference to a car break. Contact was made with the victim, Day'shun Beveritt (V1), who advised his 1998 Chevrolet passenger car was parked at the address for approximately two years. The last time he had seen the vehicle intact was approximately two weeks prior. On today's date, he found the vehicle's stereo equipment stolen. The investigation is active to Deputy McIntosh.
