SEARCH ON FOR MISSING 23-YEAR-OLD ENDANGERED WOMAN

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a 23-year-old woman who walked away from a home in Pierson Thursday night and hasn’t been seen since. Family members are concerned for Maria Lombardy’s wellbeing because she suffers from depression and has exhibited signs of being disoriented.

Lombardy has been staying with relatives at 345 Ricamar Road. She left the house on foot at about 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, but family members aren’t sure where she was going. After waking up Friday morning and discovering that Lombardy still hadn’t returned, relatives reported Lombardy missing to the Sheriff’s Office at about 7:20 a.m. Deputies have been looking for her ever since then, but as of Friday afternoon, hadn’t found her. Lombardy is 5’5” and weighs about 130 pounds. She has light brown hair with blonde streaks and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a light-colored dress, a purple shirt and light-colored jogging shorts.

Anyone who sees Lombardy or has any information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (386) 736-5999.
