SEARCH ON FOR MISSING 23-YEAR-OLD
ENDANGERED WOMAN
The
Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in
locating a 23-year-old woman who walked away from a home in Pierson
Thursday night and hasn’t been seen since. Family members are
concerned for Maria Lombardy’s wellbeing because she suffers from
depression and has exhibited signs of being disoriented.
Lombardy has been staying with relatives
at 345 Ricamar Road. She left the house on foot at about 6:45 p.m.
on Thursday, but family members aren’t sure where she was going.
After waking up Friday morning and discovering that Lombardy still
hadn’t returned, relatives reported Lombardy missing to the
Sheriff’s Office at about 7:20 a.m. Deputies have been looking for
her ever since then, but as of Friday afternoon, hadn’t found her.
Lombardy is 5’5” and weighs about 130 pounds. She has light brown
hair with blonde streaks and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a
light-colored dress, a purple shirt and light-colored jogging
shorts.

information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s

The victim was recovered unharmed
last night. She was located at approximately 11:15 p.m. walking
on the sidewalk along Granada Boulevard near S.R. A1A in Ormond
Beach.
