RELEASED OF VEHICLES LINKED TO MISSING
WOMAN
Hoping to jog
the memory of any potential witnesses,
Volusia County Sheriff’s investigators
released images on Tuesday of two vehicles
linked to the suspicious disappearance of a
Holly Hill woman now presumed dead.
Mandy
Ciehanoski, 33, was reported missing by
family members on Feb. 14. However, she
hasn’t been seen since about a week before
then. Last month, the Sheriff’s Office’s
Major Case Unit declared the case a homicide
and arrested a former boyfriend of the
missing woman for impeding the
investigation. Investigators consider
Michael Annicchiarico a person
of interest in the disappearance of
Ciehanoski, but have found no trace of the
missing woman. Charged with making a false
report to law enforcement, providing false
information to law enforcement during an
investigation, grand theft and forgery,
Annicchiarico remains in custody at the
Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach
on $11,500 bond.
In
the days before her death, Ciehanoski was
believed to be using a friend’s 1996, dark
blue Ford F150 pickup truck that was later
found abandoned at a park in Ormond Beach.
Sheriff’s investigators released a picture
of the truck on Tuesday along with a photo
of a 2002 white, two-door Chevrolet Cavalier
also
connected to the case. The Sheriff’s Office
is seeking information from anyone who may
have seen either Ciehanoski, Annicchiarico
or both on Feb. 7 in either one of the
vehicles. Additionally, investigators say
it’s possible that someone may recall having
seen one of these vehicles on the side of
the road or going into a wooded area on that
rainy day in February. Anyone with
information about Annicchiarico or the
whereabouts of Ciehanoski is asked to
contact Sheriff’s investigator Beth Fortin
at (386) 248-1777.
