SHERIFF’S OFFICE SEARCHING FOR MISSING TEEN

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a 13-year-old girl who has been missing since June 17. Shynesse Greene is not believed to be endangered, but had made suicidal statements to her family prior to disappearing. Greene had run away from her home at 1355 Wright Street, Daytona Beach before, but has never been gone for as long as she has this time. Greene’s mother reported her missing right after discovering that she was not home at about 6:30 a.m. Greene is known to frequent the Daytona Beach area.

Greene is a black female with brown eyes and black hair. She is 5’4” tall and 150 pounds. Anyone with information about Greene’s whereabouts is asked to call Investigator Lance LaMee at (386) 323-0151.

Shynesse Greene, the missing teen who was the focus of Wednesday’s news release included below, was found safe and sound early Sunday morning in Daytona Beach.
