SHERIFF'S OFFICE SEEKING HELP IN LOCATING MISSING WOMAN
The
Volusia County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's
help in locating a 51-year-old woman who apparently
walked away from a residence she was visiting in Deltona
and hasn't been seen since. Relatives noticed Vicki
Hansen missing at about 3:40 p.m. Hansen lives in Orange
City but was visiting with relatives at 1851 Oak Grove
Ave. She rode with others to the house and so is not
believed to have driven away and is likely on foot. The
family reported Hansen missing to the Sheriff's Office
at about 5:40 p.m.
Sheriff’s deputies have
been searching from the ground and air, but so far have
found no sign of Hansen. Sheriff’s K-9 teams also
searched the area. Deputies have checked with local
businesses and hospitals and initiated a reverse 911
call to alert residents in the area where Hansen went
missing.
Hansen, who suffers
from early signs of dementia, is about 4’11”, weighs 95
pounds and has blond hair and green eyes. She was last
seen wearing a pink shirt with hearts on it, a teal
jacket, blue jeans and pink shoes. Anyone who sees
Hansen is asked to call 911 immediately.
