SILVER ALERT ISSUED FOR MISSING 78-YEAR-OLD NEW SMYRNA BEACH WOMAN

A Silver Alert has been issued for a 78-year-old New Smyrna Beach woman who went missing from her home late Thursday night.

Lavonne Ann Waldie was not at her home on Bridget Street, New Smyrna Beach, when her family checked on her around 9:50 p.m. Thursday after a concerning phone call. It’s believed she left her residence in a gold 2015 Nissan Versa with Florida tag 517RAL.

It’s possible Ms. Waldie is impaired due to a mixture of medication and alcohol. She may be wearing a nightgown. Her photo is attached.

Anyone who sees her or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
